The Singapore Heart Foundation, as part of its annual Go Red For Women (GRFW) campaign which aims to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke among women, has organised I Heart Car Wash on Sunday, 24 January. For just $5, all ladies can get their cars washed and their hearts screened while admiring eye candy, including the Singapore Calendar Guys, in action. Men are welcomed to get their cars washed and hearts screened as well.

Following the tragic passing of legendary Malaysian filmmaker Yasmin Ahmad (January 7, 1958 - July 25, 2009), in order to deal with his grief, fellow Malaysian filmmaker and friend Amir Muhammad watched anew her six feature-length films (Rabun, Sepet, Gubra, Mukhsin, Muallaf and Talentime), as well as several of her most popular commercials, and wrote a book on her films as a tribute to the famed artist. The 51-year-old was famed for her advertisements and films capturing the essence of racial harmony in Malaysia.
